Introducing my new art group to my old through an exhibit.

Yesterday my new art group met at Central Vermont Hospital to view the photos in the show The Whole>the Sum of the Parts.  It was a wonderful way to introduce them to the work of my former art group since this was a joint show.  Here is the new group at the show in front of my rice paper butterfly triptych.

Proud Mama?

The final poster for the show actually ended up looking like a piece of art thanks to Julie's talents and I had to include it in this blog.

Other parts of our exhibit:
Lisa's photos on silk
Sandy's photos on top, Julie's triptych below

Gail's pottery

The exhibit is in the main entrance of the hospital and can't be missed, not only because of where it is but because it really is a beautiful display of art.  Maureen O'Conner Burgess, the hospital curator, took a lot of time hanging this exhibit and she has a great eye for placement. Thank you Maureen.
The exhibit is up until July 31.

And speaking of exhibits, here is the final poster for an alternative photography show at Axel's Frame Shop in Waterbury.  I have a polaroid transfer in that exhibit.  This show runs through July 12 with an artists reception on July 11 from
6-8pm.
